Slide a gold bead onto the hook and mount it; start black thread just behind the bead.
Fold a small pinch of white Brite Blend in your fingers to form a belly; rotate the hook over, tie the belly under the shank with a wrap or two while stroking the fibers rearward, and add a couple of wraps to keep it from kicking forward.
Take a thin amount of chartreuse Lite Brite, fold it rearward over the top of the hook, roll it into one bunch, and trim to a slight taper about a shank length long; tie it in.
Cut a clump of olive craft fur from the hide and comb out all the underfur; center it on top of the shank so the total length runs about two hook-shanks, and secure with a couple of thread wraps.
Roll the streamer in your fingers to check length; trim a little off and nip any hard edges so the wing tapers smoothly into the tail.
Trim the remaining craft-fur butts and build a smooth thread head behind the bead, adding wraps until the bead no longer moves.
Whip finish behind the bead and add a drop of head cement to the exposed thread.
