Tie dumbbell eyes (tungsten) on at an angle, bring the thread around the other way, and tighten with a few wraps under the eyes; put a little head cement on the eyes.
Take the thread to the back of the hook and tie in a small tail of zonker strip almost on the bend.
Strip the flash off part of a length of cactus chenille and tie it in by the bare part, then wrap it from the back of the shank to the front, pulling it across the front so it covers the eyes but leaving the top of the hook clear.
Tie off the chenille, trim it, and add a few extra wraps to hold it down.
Tie in slinky fibre as the wing, a light colour (pink) first and then a darker colour (purple) over the top, trimming the excess.
Clean up the head to a taper, whip finish (a couple of times) and add head cement.
