Hackle Dark claret hackle over the black floss (1)

Wing Married scarlet, blue and yellow swan, florican, bustard, grey turkey tail and golden pheasant tail; married teal and barred summer duck; narrow brown mallard over (1 married pair)

How to tie it
Lay a tag of silver thread and ruby red floss, then tie in a golden pheasant topping tail with Indian crow and blue chatterer over it. Form a black herl butt.
Cover the rear half of the shank with flat silver tinsel; butt it with black herl and veil that joint above and below with Indian crow. Cover the front half with black floss.
Rib the whole body with oval silver tinsel, then wind a dark claret hackle over the black-floss front half.
Wind a jay throat as a beard and stroke it down.
Build the married wing from strands of scarlet, blue and yellow swan, florican, bustard, grey turkey tail and golden pheasant tail; add a married narrow strip of teal and barred summer duck, with narrow brown mallard over.
Set jungle cock sides, blue chatterer cheeks, a topping over all, and a pair of blue-and-yellow macaw horns; form a small head and whip finish.
