Materials
- Bead Gold bead (Brass or tungsten, optional)
- Tail Yellow mcflylon (Marabou + gold/pearl Krystal Flash)
- Body Yellow / gold material (Cactus chenille (Estaz))
- Hackle Yellow or grizzly hackle (One saddle hackle, palmered)
How to tie it
- If using a bead, slide it on and seat it behind the eye; mount the hook and start thread at the bend.
- Tie in a yellow marabou tail one shank length long with several strands of gold and pearl flash for extra shine.
- Tie in a saddle hackle by the tip and a length of yellow cactus chenille at the bend.
- Wrap the flashy chenille forward to just behind the eye and tie off.
- Palmer the hackle forward over the body in 5-6 evenly spaced turns and tie off.
- Build a small head, whip finish and snip.
