How to tie it
Secure the hook, attach the thread behind the eye, lay a thread foundation, and wrap back to about a quarter of the shank behind the eye.
Tie on medium bead chain eyes about one third of the way behind the eye with X-wraps over and under, with a small hump of thread in front to stop them sliding; secure with adhesive.
Tie in four Crazy Legs behind the bead chain, hold them along the shank, and run the thread to the bend, taking a couple of wraps under the legs at the bend.
Return the thread behind the eyes, tie in the orange flat diamond braid, run the thread to the tail, then wind touching turns of orange forward, stopping at the barb, as the egg sac; tie off and trim.
Tie in the pearl flat diamond braid behind the eyes, take the thread to the end of the orange, bring it in front of the eyes, and wind touching turns of pearl forward to the bead chain; cross over the eyes with X-wraps, tie off and trim.
Turn the hook upside down: the fly rides hook point up.
Tie in the wing hair so the tips go past the bend by at least one gap, then tie in four strands of pink Krystal Flash (two strands doubled) over the wing as the veil.
Build a tapered head, whip finish, and coat the head top and bottom with UV resin and cure.
Trim the flash even with the wing and trim the tail legs to one and a half times the shank length.
