Classic Recipe

• Hook Steelhead/salmon hook, 2-6
• Thread Red 6/0

Materials

• Tail Red hackle fibers (short)
• Body Fluorescent red chenille or floss (full)
• Hackle Red or orange hackle (collar)
• Wing White calf tail (sparse)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook, tie in tail
2. Wrap red body
3. Tie in white wing
4. Wrap hackle collar
5. Whip finish
