Start the thread and tie in the large oval gold tinsel at the bend, above the barb; wrap about four turns as a butt, tie down, and keep the remainder in the material keeper for the rib.
Dub UV hot orange Ice Dub and build a body forward along the shank, bulking it up slightly.
Rib the body with nice wide turns of the oval tinsel; tie off.
Tie in UV polar chenille and take a turn or so, so the crinkly flash envelops the fly from underneath without overpowering it; tie off.
Find a webby burnt orange saddle feather, tie it in, and wrap a soft collar, folding it back over itself; tie off and clean up.
Prepare a guinea feather by stripping the bottom fuzz and the fibers from one side of the stem; tie in by the tip.
Wrap the guinea 2 to 2.5 turns, with one side stripped, the black-dotted fibers stay to the front instead of folding over themselves; tie off.
Cut a section of two-tone peachy orange rabbit flesh strip where the hair leans back on the hide, and tie it in flat over the top as the wing; give it a tug to check it's secure.
Cut a V in the hide at the tail end of the strip, build the thread head, and whip finish.
Coat the head with Solarez Bone Dry and cure. Thin resin wicking into the materials toughens the fly.
