• Hook Standard dry fly, 2x long, 6-12
• Thread Natural 6/0

Materials

• Tail Moose body hair (short tuft)
• Body Natural deer hair (spun and clipped cigar)
• Wing White calf tail (upright)
• Hackle Brown and grizzly hackle (heavy, palmered)

How to tie it

1. Mount hook, tie in moose tail
2. Spin deer hair body, pack tight
3. Trim to cigar shape
4. Tie in calf tail wing
5. Palmer heavy hackle
6. Whip finish
