Slide the bead on; start the thread at the front and tie in a doubled length of white polyyarn on top so prominent gills stick out over the eye; trim the butt taper and bind down.
Wrap back over the butts, whip finish, push the bead up over the tie-down, and trim the gills to a short, fluffy tuft.
Restart the thread behind the bead and run a flattened thread base (counterclockwise bobbin spin) down to the bend.
Lash the 0.2mm red wire along the TOP of the shank the full body length, if the body coverage is thin it reads as a red bloodline down the back.
Lash the black wire along the side of the shank the same way, sticking its front end into the bead, and build a slight taper of thread at the front.
Tie in the 1mm ASB strip without letting it twist, and take the thread to the front.
Wrap the ASB forward with slight gaps so the green underbody shows through between wraps; tie off behind the bead.
Rib the black wire forward, following the front edge of each ASB wrap, and helicopter it off.
Follow the black wire with the red wire, leaving plenty of green showing between the ribs; tie off, whip finish behind the bead.
Finish with 2-3 thin coats of Sally Hansen (or one coat of UV resin).
