How to tie it
Start the thread above the hook point and lay a short base on the rear third of the shank.
Tie in the yellow-over-orange marabou (or an orange rabbit strip) at the bend, about 1.5 shank lengths long. Stu swapped the original's stiff splayed saddles for marabou to get more wiggle at the dead-slow speeds laid-up fish demand.
Add a few strands of gold Flashabou over the tail.
Tie in the orange and dyed-grizzly saddles by their butts and palmer a full collar in 4-5 turns, sweeping the fibers back.
Wrap a smooth tapered thread head over the remaining shank to the eye, whip finish, and lacquer glossy.
