Dubbing Home made pink (pearl and pink Ice dubbing, squirrel, Antron, chopped leftover cock de leon)
Shell back Pink body stretch (Spirit River), split down the middle
How to tie it
Put a short length of lead-free wire on the shank and attach the grey thread at the front.
Take the thread over the lead wire down to the rear and back again.
Tie in a short length of silver wire at the side over the lead wire.
Split a strip of pink body stretch down the middle for this size and tie it in at the rear.
Spin the thread anticlockwise to flatten it, split it with a dubbing needle, insert the home-made pink dubbing, thin out any dense bits, and spin the bobbin clockwise.
Dub the body forward, keeping it scruffy and buggy.
Pull the body stretch over the top as a shell back, hold it in position, trap it down and secure it with a few turns; the piece hanging out the front is left alone.
Whip finish.
Take the silver wire rib once around behind the body, then spiral it forward over the shell back pulling tight, secure it and break it off with a helicopter motion.
Whip finish again, remove the thread, and pick out the fibres with a dubbing needle if you want it buggier.
