Tyer Recipe
- Hook Plastic/alloy tube with trailing treble or single
- Thread Black 8/0
Materials

- Hackle Hot orange cock hackle (collar)
How to tie it
- Mount tube in the vise and start thread at the front.
- Tie in a sparse bunch of hot orange bucktail at the rear so it extends about two tube-lengths beyond the tube as a long tail.
- Tie in oval silver rib at the rear, then build the rear half of the body with red floss.
- Continue the front half of the body with black floss and spiral the silver rib forward over both sections; tie off.
- Tie a sparse grey squirrel-tail wing over the top, roughly to the end of the tail.
- Wind a hot orange cock hackle as a soft collar and stroke the fibers back.
- Form a small neat head and whip finish.
