- Hook Saltwater streamer hook, 1/0-4
- Thread White 6/0 (140 denier)
Materials
- Belly White bucktail (sparse clump)
- Flash Pearl flashabou (a few strands)
- Back Chartreuse or olive bucktail (matching clump)
- Eyes Silver stick-on (pair)
- Head UV resin / epoxy (tapered coat)
How to tie it
- Mount a saltwater streamer hook and start thread at mid-shank.
- Tie a sparse clump of white bucktail at the throat as the belly, extending about 1.5 shank lengths.
- Add a few strands of pearl Flashabou over the belly.
- Stack a matching clump of chartreuse or olive bucktail on top for the back.
- Sweep everything to shape and build a smooth tapered thread head.
- Set stick-on eyes on each side and coat the head with UV resin or epoxy.
- Whip finish under the resin for a durable baitfish head.
