How to tie it
Tie the fly inverted. Tie 25 lb mono in on top of the hook (which will end up the bottom) so it is about equal to the hook point.
Tie in large tinsel at that point and park it in the material clip.
Slide on the tungsten bead, small hole forward, positioned about midway between the hook and the eye, leaving room for the eyes; secure it with thread in front of the bead, keeping the mono on top.
Clip the mono at the hook eye and wrap the tinsel forward to about where the eyes will go.
Move the thread as far forward as possible. Coat the bead and behind it with orange UV fly paint in a thin even layer and cure it.
Add layers of UV clear thick around and behind the bead, tapering back toward the body for the egg sac shape, smoothing with a craft stick and curing each thin layer.
Brush a coat of UV Flow over everything for a tack-free, shiny finish and cure.
On the top side (hook point up), tie in a small bunch of Arctic fox with the guard hairs pulled out, about a body length and a half long, splitting it to go back either side of the hook; trim.
Tie in Flash and Slinky in the same place, a little more than the fox and about the same length, split it, and trim with synthetic scissors.
Build a small head with thread and whip finish.
Fix a 3 mm eye on each side, put a dab of UV thick between to fill the gap and cure, then cover with more thick and turn the fly slowly while curing, finishing with a touch of UV Flow.
